- Exist curb ramp landing block
- Curb ramp sidewalk block
Design curb ramp
- Curb ramp slope categories
- Exist curb ramp with tapers block
- Exist curb ramp landing block
-
Curb ramp sidewalk block
Usage
- Curb ramp slope categories
- This block is not parametric and is intended to show the following for the other blocks:
- Curb ramp slope categories
- Categories, abbreviations (used for object naming), acronyms (used for labels)
- Slope category maximums for design and exist (verify in FDM 11-46 Attachment 10.2 Curb Ramp Component Summary Tables before usage)
Graphic standards for exist/design files and when used in sheets
- This block is not parametric and is intended to show the following for the other blocks:
- Exist/design curb ramp with tapers block
- Exist/design curb ramp landing block
-
Exist/design curb ramp sidewalk block
The above parametric blocks are intended to be used with Create Feature Lines from Curb Ramp Block to automate and standardize curb ramp feature lines.
The above blocks have the following characteristics:
- All lines are on existing/proposed layers associated with their slope categories
- Lengths and widths are parametric
- Ramps, landings, and sidewalk panels are all rectangular. Edits for curved or non-perpendicular edges can be made after the blocks have been turned into feature lines
-
Ramps have visibility states for tapers at 3FT and 5FT widths
The above blocks are intended to roughly lay out the primary chunks of a curb ramp rather tha attempt to exactly generate all the possible scenarios of a curb ramp.
Exist/design surface curb report features
This block is not parametric. It is intended to create feature lines that have the same elevations and slopes as the created exist/design curb ramp surface. These will then be able to be used in Feature line curb ramp slope report.
Sample workflow
- Create curb and gutter horizontal and vertical geometry with a corridor and the CGBasic – Version 26.1 subassembly
- Create an exact horizontal layout of curb ramps with lines and arcs
- Insert the above parametric blocks to represent edges of ramps, landings, and panels
- Create Feature Lines from Curb Ramp Block to create curb ramp feature lines
- Edit horizontal geometry of feature lines to exact layout if needed
- Set feature line elevations and slopes from parametric blocks above
- Add pedestrian curb head feature lines (optional), a feature line for back of sidewalk, and a grading for slope intercept
- Create a surface (or part of a surface) from curb and gutter, curb ramp, sidewalk, pedestrian curb, and slope intercept grading
- Add null structures with elevations set to the surface for points needing X, Y, Z, Station, Offset information reported out
- Add Exist/design surface curb report features feature lines with elevations set to the surface
- Feature line curb ramp slope report to report on curb ramp slopes
