Create Feature Lines from Curb Ramp Block

Overview

This command creates feature line objects from the WisDOT Curb Ramp blocks for use in curb ramp model design. Feature line names, layers, and styles are all preset to standard values.

Usage

WisDOT Design tab > Design panel > Feature Line menu > Create Feature Lines From Curb Ramp Block

The tool can also be accessed from the command line: DOTCREATEFEATURELINESFROMCRBRMPBLOCK.

1. Select WisDOT Curb Ramp Block: (Select one or multiple curb ramp blocks in model space.)

2. Erase block reference(s) (Yes/No): <No>:

   • Yes to erase the block reference after the feature lines are created.
   • No to retain the block reference

3. Which Site? (Select/New): (This prompt only occurs if there are Sites in the drawing.)

   • Select to select from a list of existing sites.
   • New to specify a new site.
     • Enter Site name: (Specify a new or existing site name.)
4. A feature line is created for each of the following features:
   1. Ramp running edges, cross edges, and tapers
   2. Landing edges

   3. Sidewalk running and cross edges

Info: These feature lines are built for Curb Ramp-only modeling. They are intended as a starting point and can be edited as needed for a specific location.
