System variables allow persistent settings to work between DWGs and/or working sessions. Below is the list of WisDOT system variables.
- WisDOT Imagery tab system variable
- DOTMAPLAYERSTARTUP
- 0 = (Default) Turn off all Map layers at drawing open.
- 1 = Turn of WisDOT Imagery Layers at drawing open.

- DOTMAPLAYERSTARTUP
- DOTOSNAPDIVISIONS
This Object Snap is only available from the Object Snap menu on the Status Bar. When enabled, Object Snaps are available for the specified division points along an entity. The default snap points are 1/4 points, however the division point can be controlled by the DOTOSNAPDIVISIONS system variable (4 = 1/4 points, 3 = 1/3 points, etc). The Object Snap glyph for the division points is represented by triangle with text indicating the current divisions setting. The Divisions Object Snap is turned off at the beginning of each Civil 3D session.
The following variables are controlled by the tool they are used with.
