Pipe Network - Move Pipe End

Overview

This command will move a pipe end to a location at a specified elevation. That elevation will be assigned by snapping to the X, Y, and Z coordinates of an object.

If Inlet/Outlet structures (apron endwalls) are connected to the pipe, they will be moved, reconnected, and rotated to match the new pipe end location and pipe bearing.

Usage

WisDOT Design tab > Design panel > Pipe Network menu > Move Pipe End

The tool can also be accessed from the Pipe Object right-click menu or via the command line: DOTMOVEPIPEEND

The process for pipe placement must be complete up to Place metal culvert pipe #metal

  1. Select the Pipe End to Move: Select end of pipe

    Warning: Make sure to select closer to the end to move.

  2. Snap to new location: Select pipe reference location: [B=Bottom, F=Flowline, C=Centerline, R=Crown, T=Top]: Select which part of the pipe should go to the selected location.
