ProfileToParameterRef
Last updated: 2023-01-24
Description
This subassembly is used to target a profile. This subassembly only show graphically attached to an assembly and does not appear as a point or link in the corridor. The subassemblies elevation parameter is then used as a parameter reference in another subassembly to define a slope or a width. The elevations of the target profile used to define a slope must be set as the slope invert (1:4 =0.25). The elevations of the target profile used to define a width can be numeric.
Attachment & layout mode operation
This subassembly has and insertion point a link and an end connect point, but doe snot have any point or link codes. This subassembly is required to be attached inside (or above in the assembly Construction Item list) of the subassembly that will be using the Parameter Reference. When attaching directly to the center assembly, there is an option to insert as LEFT or RIGHT in the subassembly properties.
In layout mode, this subassembly displays a non coded point.
Input parameters
Info: All dimensions are in feet unless otherwise noted. All slopes are in run-over-rise form (for example, 4:1) unless indicated as a percent slope with a "%" sign.
