LinkVerticalSlopeConditional 5:06
Description
This subassembly is a general purpose utility to extend a link for a vertical depth whenever two input slopes are different. Common usage is for marking longitudinal pavement joints.
Attachment & layout mode operation
The attachment point is at the inside edge of the link. This subassembly can be inserted in the left or right direction from the attachment point.
In layout mode, this subassembly displays the link at the given depth regardless of the input values for Slope 1 and Slope 2.
Input parameters
Info: All dimensions are in feet unless otherwise noted. All slopes are in run-over-rise form (for example, 4:1) unless indicated as a percent slope with a "%" sign.
Parameter | Description | Type | Default |
---|---|---|---|
Side | Specifies which side to place the subassembly. | Left/Right | Right |
Depth | Depth of vertical deflection | Numeric | 1.375 ft |
Slope 1 superelevation method | Superelevation method to determine value for slope 1 | Selection list | Use outside lane |
Slope 2 superelevation method | Superelevation method to determine value for slope 2 | Selection list | Use outside shoulder |
Slope 1 | Value for slope 1 when Slope 1 superelevation method is set to User-defined. Often parameter referenced. | Numeric | -2% |
Slope 2 | Value for slope 2 when Slope 2 superelevation method is set to User-defined. Often parameter referenced. | Numeric | -4% |
P1 | A list of point codes to be assigned to the inside edge of the link | Comma-separated string | Uncoded |
