Setup-MntCrossover-Top
Last updated: 2022-08-30
Description
This assembly is used to construct the setup corridor which is used in the workflow for modeling a maintenance crossover. The baseline is the northbound (NB) ETW alignment.
Construction
This assembly consists of 2 MarkPoint subassemblies for inserting NB and SB point codes at the north bound and south bound ETW alignments, and 1 LinkOffsetOnSurface subassembly for locating the SB point code (NB is on the baseline). The assembly also consists of a MedianDepressed subassembly used to model the location of the inverted crown of the crossover which has a LinkVertical subassembly attached at that point to get to the attachment point at the top surface location for the ChannelParabolicBottom subassembly which will model the parabolic shape of the crossover.
LinkOffsetOnSurface – This subassembly is used to locate a MarkPoint at the southbound (SB) ETW alignment on the existing ground surface
MarkPoint (SB)– This subassembly is used to insert a SB point code for setup top surface development.
MarkPoint (NB)– This subassembly is used to insert a NB point code for setup top surface development.
MedianDepressed– This subassembly is used to model the location of the inverted crown on the crossover which the LinkVertical attaches to
LinkVertical–This subassembly determines the attachment point for the parabolic subassembly which will define the parabolic shape of the crossover
ChannelParabolicBottom– This subassembly will model the parabolic shape of the crossover.
