MntCrossover-Slopes
Last updated: 2026-01-06
Description
This assembly is used to construct the point codes on a maintenance crossover centerline, and it also creates the daylight links from the gravel shoulder on each side of the crossover.
Construction
This assembly consists of 1 MarkPoint subassembly for inserting a Crown point code, and 2 LinkVertical subassemblies for inserting the Crown_Pave1 and Crown_Sub point codes. The assembly also consists of 2 ConditionFound subassemblies used to locate the gravel shoulder alignment on each side. Attached to those on each side are a LinkWidthAndSlope subassembly with the link omitted which is used to model the vertical location of the gravel shoulder on each side. Finally, there is a LinkSlopeToSurface on each side used to model the daylight slopes of 10:1 on each side of the crossover.
MarkPoint (Crown) – This subassembly is used to insert a Crown point code for top surface development.
Crown_Pave1– This subassembly is used to insert a Crown_Pave1 point code for base course surface development. The vertical deflection parameter will need to be adjusted for project specifications. This parameter is a material depth rather than a distance from the top of pavement.
Crown_Sub– This subassembly is used to insert a Crown_Sub point code for datum surface development. The vertical deflection parameter will need to be adjusted for project specifications. This parameter is a material depth rather than a distance from the top of pavement.
Condition Found - TARGET EGS-L– This conditional subassembly is used to locate the left edge of gravel shoulder alignment.
Condition Found - TARGET EGS-R–This conditional subassembly is used to locate the right edge of gravel shoulder alignment.
LinkWidthAndSlope - TARGET EGS-L– This subassembly will model the edged of gravel shoulder using the left EGS alignment as the width target and a set 2% slope for the cross slope on the crossover for the left side
LinkWidthAndSlope - TARGET EGS-R–This subassembly will model the edged of gravel shoulder using the right EGS alignment as the width target and a set 2% slope for the cross slope on the crossover for the right side
LinkSlopeToSurface– These subassemblies target the Existing ground surface and set a 10:1 slope for the daylight link on each side of the crossover.
