Set Textstyle/Size

Overview

A tool to set the current text style/height per WisDOT annotation standards and place Multiline Text (MText). The tool can remain open while interacting with Civil 3D. A minimize button is provided on the title bar so the window can be minimized to the Taskbar.

Usage

WisDOT Sheets tab > Annotation panel > Set Textstyle/Size

The tool can also be accessed from the command line: SETTEXTSIZE.

When the tool is started, it imports the latest WisDOT text styles into the active drawing.

  1. Reflects the current active text style. Only WisDOT standard text styles are displayed. If the active text style is not a WisDOT standard, nothing is displayed and the sample text will states "Active style is non-standard".
  2. Reflects the current active annotation text height. Only WisDOT standard text heights are displayed. If the active text height is not a WisDOT standard, nothing is displayed and the sample text states "Active text height is non-standard".
  3. Click this button to place Multiline Text with the current settings.
