OsnapZ: Off/On

Overview

This tool will toggle the value of the Osnapz variable. This controls whether object snaps are automatically projected onto a plane parallel to the XY plane of the current UCS at the current elevation.

Using Toggle OsnapZ

WisDOT [***] tab > Manage panel > Toggle OsnapZ

The tool palette can also be toggled from the command line. Use DOTOSNAPZ

The value for this toggle is shown in the status bar as OSNAPZ:0 or OSNAPZ:1.

Value	Description
0	Osnap uses the Z-value of the specified point
1	Osnap substitutes the Z-value of the specified point with the elevation (ELEV) set for the current UCS
