Data for Construction - Assign CDP Breakline Layers
Last updated: 2024-06-27
Overview
This tool assigns breaklines extracted by the WisDOT Design Surface Data Extractor to new layers. The new layer names are based on the point codes contained within the breakline xdata.
A CSV file is used to define the new layer colors. The default colors are the same colors assigned to the WisDOT feature line styles. Additional point codes and colors may be added to the CSV file to accommodate custom point codes used in design.
The default CSV file is included with the WisDOT Civil 3D Package and stored in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\WisDOTXXXXA.bundle\Contents\Windows\2020\en-US\AssignCDPBreaklineColors.csv
It is also hosted here: AssignCDPBreaklineColors.csv
If additional point codes are added, it is recommended best practice is to create a copy of the CSV as a backup so this information is not lost after an WisDOT Civil 3D update occurs.
