Data for Construction - Slope Stake Report

Overview

This report creates an .xlsx file of breakpoints on a surface from one sample line to another based on an alignment.

WisDOT Design tab > Output panel > Data for Construction menu > Slope Stake Report

The tool can also be accessed from the command line: DOTREPORTSLOPESTAKE.

Select a sample line for the start of the slope stake report.
The last sample line in the sample line group is automatically selected. Select a different end sample line if desired. The end sample line must be in the same sample line group as the start sample line.
Select a surface from the list. Only surface that are sampled by the sample line group are shown in the list.
Check Weed Points to filter out any section points that are not a grade break of at least the specified change in slope. Section points are located anywhere sample lines cross the surface TIN edges.
Click the folder icon to open the Save File As.. dialog.
Save
The report will auto-open in Excel.
