Last updated: 2021-06-29

Overview

The Create-CrossSlopeProfiles command is used to create a profile of the cross slope between two offsets along an alignment. The profile is based on a selected alignment, two offset distances, and a selected surface. Slopes are provided at an entered interval and along curves at the PC, PT, and curve mid point locations.

Other features include:

  • Supports increasing and decreasing station equations. Prompts to select desired raw station, if entered station occurs multiple time.

  • Option to enter station or pick station on screen

  • Alignment selection is filtered to “Centerline” type

  • Profile style assignment is automatic based on average of entered offsets.

An example use would be for creating a profile of existing pavement cross slopes to review the existing superelevation along a roadway.
