Pipe Network - Swap Pipe Network Part

Overview

This tool allows to swap one pipe network part at a time. This utility allows a user to swap multiple pipes and/or structures in a pipe network simultaneously. Run the utility, select all of the pipes and structures to be swapped, and select the replacement parts.

Usage

WisDOT Design tab > Design panel > Pipe Network dropdown > Swap Pipe Network Part

The tool can also be accessed from the command line: SWAPPARTS

1. To add pipe network parts to the list, click the green select button to select pipe network parts from model space.
2. Select a pipe network part from the list and click the red delete button to remove the part from the list.
3. Refresh All to refresh the list of selected parts.
4. In the palette:
   1. Part List Select the desired parts list from which to choose the new parts.
   2. Pipe Part Family Select the part family for the replacement pipe part.
   3. Pipe Select the pipe which will replace all of the selected pipes.
   4. Structure Part Family Select the part family for the replacement structure part.
   5. Structure Select the structure which will replace all of the selected structures.
   6. OK to swap all of the selected parts with the selected replacement parts.
