Pipe Network - Refresh Network Parts

Last updated: 2024-12-02

Overview

Occasionally a Pipe Network Part may need to re-read the source definition from the Parts List. This may be necessary when changes are made to the Parts Catalog or Parts List. This utility swaps selected parts for the same part in the respective pipe network assigned source parts list. This action re-applies the parameters specified in the parts list, such as the part size properties, rule set, style, and bid items.

Usage

WisDOT Design tab > Design panel > Pipe Network dropdown > Refresh Network Parts

The tool can also be accessed from the Structure or Pipe Object right-click menu or via the command line: DOTRefreshNetworkParts

Select Parts(s): Select the Pipe Network Parts to refresh and hit Enter. This command supports pick-first selection, so the Pipe Network Parts may be selected prior to executing the command.

Confirm you want to proceed by clicking Yes, or abort by clicking No.

Info: The Event Viewer will display a warning for any Structure part that is not connected to a Pipe. This warning can be ignored. The warning description is: "Cannot resize structure to match pipe depths."
