Pipe Network - Connect Apron to Pipe

Overview

This command moves and connects a Inlet/Outlet Structure (apron endwall) to a selected pipe end, matching the pipe end XYZ location and bearing.

Usage

WisDOT Design tab > Design panel > Pipe Network menu > Connect Apron to Pipe

The tool can also be accessed from the Structure Object right-click menu or via the command line: DOTCONNECTAPRONTOPIPE.

1. Select the Apron Structure to connect: Select apron structure.

2. Select Pipe end: Select the end of the pipe to connect to.

   Make sure to select closer to the connection end of the pipe.

   If the structure is already connected to the selected pipe end, its orientation will be reset to match the pipe end. If the pipe end is already occupied by another structure, the command will exit with the message 'Pipe end already occupied.'
