Assembly - Reset Subassembly Codes

Overview

Resets WisDOT subassembly point, link, and/or shape codes to the defaults listed in the subassembly source ATC file. This tool is specific to subassemblies that follow the WisDOT point, link, and shape code parameter naming convention (PTCode*, LKCode*, SPCode*) and are located on the WisDOT subassembly palettes (Roadway, Daylights & Slopes, General Subassemblies).

This tool can be used on one or multiple subassemblies. It supports pick-first selection sets, so the subassemblies may be selected before or after the command is executed.

Usage

WisDOT Design Tab > Design Panel > Assembly dropdown > Reset Subassembly Codes

The tool can also be accessed from the command line: DOTRESETSUBASSEMBLYCODES.

  1. Select Subassemblies:
    1. if a pick-first selection set was not created, the user is prompted to select subassemblies.
  2. Restore default [Point codes Link codes Shape codes All] <All>:
    1. P = Reset the subassembly Point codes to default.
    2. L = Reset subassembly Link codes to default.
    3. S = Reset subassembly Shape codes to default.
    4. A = Reset subassembly Point, Link, & Shape codes to default.
  3. Enter
