The tool can also be accessed from the command line: DOTCREATEALIGNMENTSFROMBGBLOCK.

- Select reference Alignment: (Select an alignment in model space.)
- A folder is created in Toolspace > Prospector > Alignments > Miscellaneous Alignments with the naming format BG-<starting station>-<roadway side>
- An alignment is created for each of the following features:
- Beam guard
- Edge of paved shoulder
- Edge of gravel shoulder

Info: These alignments are built for EAT-only cross-sections and modeling. Depending on the beam guard installation they can be edited or their geometry used in other alignment objects. For example, if you have project-wide cross-sections, paved and unpaved shoulder alignments, you may choose to use those objects and delete the automatically created EAT-only alignments for those features.
