Loads palettes containing components for sight distance analysis.

Using Sight Distance palettes

WisDOT Design tab > Analyze panel > Visibility Check dropdown > Sight Distance Palette

The palettes can also be loaded from the command line: DOTSHEETS-SIGHT.

The palette contains layer adds, multileaders, and blocks for sight distance analysis.

• Layers for Intersection Sight Distance (ISD) analysis
  • These layers are not in the base template

  • Warning: Layers only need to be added from this palette if the WisDOT Visibility Check - Check Intersection Sight Distance tool is not used for analysis. The Visibility Check - Check Intersection Sight Distance tool automatically creates a subset of the layers listed below based on the side vehicles are approaching from and the decision eye height analyzed.
