WisDOT Civil 3D styles

Overview

The WisDOT Civil 3D standards require custom Civil 3D Styles. WisDOT custom Civil 3D Styles can be found in Begin-dwg templates, reference templates, and sheet templates of the drawing template collection that is included in the WisDOT Civil 3D resource files.

Civil 3D styles files

The WisDOT custom Civil 3D styles make up part of the settings in the WisDOT drawing templates (.dwt files). The templates are located in C:\WisDOT\Stnd\C3D20xx\Templates

Some of the categories in which WisDOT custom Civil 3D styles have been created:

  • Feature Line Styles
  • Code Set Styles
  • Link Styles
  • Shape Styles
  • Note, Line, Curve, Marker, Link, and Shape Label Styles
  • Point Styles and Point Label Styles
  • Surface Styles and Surface Label Styles
  • Alignment Styles, Alignment Label Styles, and Alignment Table Styles
  • Profile Styles and Profile Label Styles
  • Profile View Styles, Profile View Label Styles, and Profile View Band Sets
  • Sample Line Styles and Sample Line Label Styles
  • Section Styles and Section Label Styles
  • Section View Styles, Section View Group Plot Styles, and Section View Label Styles
  • Catchment Styles and Catchment Label Styles
  • Pipe Styles and Pipe Label Styles
  • Structure Styles, Structure Label Styles, and Structure Table Styles
  • Corridor Styles, Intersection Styles, and Assembly Styles

The available Civil 3D styles in an active DWG can be found in Toolspace > Settings tab > Expand object tree of interest. Styles in use have a yellow triangle by them. Styles inherited from a reference template have a paper clip by them.
