The WisDOT Civil 3D standards, tools, and reports are implemented through custom Civil 3D/AutoCAD UI ribbon tabs.

WisDOT Civil 3D custom user interface files
The WisDOT Custom user interface files consists of various AutoCAD user interface files, image files, and scripts located in the WisDOT Civil 3D "bundle":C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\WisDOT20xxA.bundle\

WisDOT Civil 3D custom user interface ribbon tabs
The WisDOT Civil 3D custom user interface consists of three WisDOT Civil 3D/AutoCAD UI ribbon tabs. The tabs are accessible from any Civil 3D workspace. The three tabs are named WisDOT Survey, WisDOT Design, and WisDOT Sheets and are added to the far right side of the Civil 3D ribbon.
- WisDOT Survey tab: General drawing, project, and Civil 3D management tools, view tools, survey tools and reports, and mapping tools and reports.
- WisDOT Design tab: General drawing, project, and Civil 3D management tools, Civil 3D design tools, subassembly and assembly palettes, analytical tools, and contractor data tools and reports.

WisDOT Sheets tab: General drawing, project, and Civil 3D management tools, sheet specific creation tools, annotation tools, and plot configuration tools.

Using the Civil 3D custom user interface
The Civil 3D custom user interface is added to the WisDOT Civil 3D profile during installation of the WisDOT Civil 3D design resource files. There is no additional user configuration required to load the user interface or access it's functionality.
