Surface edits

Warning: Surfaces edits should not be used on design or refinement surfaces. They can be used in setup and non-design surfaces.

  1. Open file Setup-Crdr-STH25.dwg
  2. Select surface
  3. Context Ribbon > Modify panel > Edit Surfaces dropdown > Swap Edge
  4. Select a surface triangle edge
  5. Select first Tin Surface in Selection Cycling
  6. Enter

Surface point editing tool

  1. Select surface
  2. Context Ribbon > Modify tab > Surface Properties dropdown > Edit Surface Style
    1. Surface Style dialog box
      1. Display tab
        1. Point component, check light bulb
    2. OK
    3. Warning box, select Apply the edits for this drawing session only

Adding a surface point

  1. Select surface
  2. Context Ribbon > Modify tab > Edit Surface dropdown > Add Point
  3. Select a location to place new point
  4. New elevation: 1157.5Enter
  5. Enter to end command

Moving a surface point

  1. Select surface
  2. Context Ribbon > Modify tab > Edit Surface dropdown > Move Point
  3. Specify point to move: left-click on a point
  4. Specify a new location for the point: left-click new location
  5. Enter to end command

Modifying a surface point

  1. Select surface
  2. Context Ribbon > Modify tab > Edit Surface dropdown > Modify Point
  3. Select point: left-click a point Enter
  4. New elevation: 1157.78Enter
  5. Enter to end command

Adding a line

  1. Select surface
  2. Context Ribbon > Modify tab > Edit Surface dropdown > Add LineNeeds point vertices turned on.
  3. Left-click a vertex point, then select a second vertex point to add a line between
  4. Enter to end command
