Create plat sheets

1. Remove L&I table with Erase command
   1. Select table
   2. Home tab > Modify panel > Erase
2. Data shortcut centerline alignments
   1. Verify working folder is in correct location.
      1. Toolspace > Prospector tab > right-click Data Shortcuts > Set Working Folder...
      2. Browse For Folder dialog box
         1. Browse to WisDOT\Design\c3d
         2. OK
      3. Toolspace > Prospector tab > right-click Data Shortcuts > Set Data Shortcuts Project Folder...
      4. Set Data Shortcuts Folder dialog box
         1. Check box next to current project number
         2. OK
   2. Toolspace > Prospector tab > expand Data Shortcuts > expand Alignments > expand Centerline Alignments > right-click CTH T-ExistROWRefLine > Create Reference...
      1. No changes and select OK
   3. Toolspace > Prospector tab > expand Data Shortcuts > expand Alignments > expand Centerline Alignments > right-click STH64-ExistROWRefLine > Create Reference...
      1. No changes and select OK
3. Promote centerline alignments
   1. Toolspace > Prospctor tab > expand Alignments > expand Centerline Alignments > right-click CTH T-ExistROWRefLine > Promote
   2. Toolspace > Prospctor tab > expand Alignments > expand Centerline Alignments > right-click STH64-ExistROWRefLine > Promote

Create view frames

4. Setup View Boundary using output tools
   1. Output tab > Plan Production panel > launch Create View Frames command
   2. Create View Frames - Alignment wizard
      1. Alignment page
         1. Alignment: dropdown and select STH64-ProposedROWRefLine
         2. Station Range: Automatic
         3. Next
      2. Sheets page
         1. Sheet Setting: Plan(s) only
         2. Template for Plan sheet: Select ellipsis (...)
            1. Select Layout as Sheet Template dialog box
               1. Drawing template file name: Select ellipsis (...)
                  1. Look in: WisDOT...\Templates\Sheets folder

                  2. Scroll and select 04-TPP34-wdot18.dwt

                     Tip: WisDOT plat sheets templates start with "04-TPP", then a measurement. If there is a "R" next, that means the sheet was rotated 90 degrees.

                  3. Open
               2. Select a layout to create new sheets: select TPP 34 1 IN 200 FT
               3. OK
         3. View Frame Placement: select Along alignment
         4. Next
      3. View Frame Group page
         1. Name: add 0401 and remove brackets so it reads, VF - 0401<|Next Counter(CP)|>
         2. Select Name Template icon
            1. Incremental number format > Style: 1,2,3...
            2. Starting number: 1
            3. Incremental value: 1
            4. OK
         3. Next
      4. Match Lines page
         1. Uncheck Insert match line, since this is a single sheet
      5. Create View Frames
      6. Zoom out
      7. View frame should have label: VF - 04011, the last "1" is supplied by the counter in the name template.

1. Output tab > Plan Production panel > Create Sheets command

   1. Create Sheets - View Frame Group and Layouts wizard
      1. View Frame Group and Layouts page
         1. View Frame Group: VFG - STH64-ProposedROWRefLine - (1)
         2. Layout Creation:

            1. Number of layouts per raw drawing: 1, since there is only a single sheet.

               Tip: This number can be increased for larger plans set with more collaborators.

         3. Layout Name: add 0401 and remove brackets so it reads, 0401<|Next Counter(CP)|>
            1. Select Name Template icon
            2. Incremental number format > Style: 01,02,03...
            3. Starting number: 1
            4. Incremental value: 1
            5. OK
         4. Choose the north arrow block to align in layouts: GN
         5. Next

      2. Sheets Set page

         1. Sheet Set
            1. Select Add to existing sheet set
            2. Select ellipsis (...)
            3. Browse the sheet set file dialog box
               1. Look in: 12345678\SheetsPlan\planproduction.dst
               2. Open
         2. Sheets
            1. Sheet files storage location: Select ellipsis (...)
               1. Browse for Folder
                  1. Select Project folder 12345678\RW\DWG
                  2. Open
               2. OK

            2. Sheet file name: 12345678 - 0401<|next Counter|>-rp

               Requirement: The naming convention is found at FDM15-5 attachment 3.3

               1. Select Name Template icon
               2. Incremental number format > Style: 01,02,03...
               3. Starting number: 1
               4. Incremental value: 1
               5. OK
         3. Next
      3. Data References page
         1. No changes

      4. Create View Frames

         Prompt: To complete this process your current drawing will be saved. OK

   2. Sheet Set Manager should be open automatically

      Tip: If the Sheet Set Manager does not open, in the command line type "SSM."

Printing plats

2. From Sheet Set Manager
   1. Single plat sheet
      1. right-click layout name, 1 - 040101 > Publish > Publish to PDF
   2. Several plat sheets

      1. right-click subset heading > Publish > Publish to PDF

Info: If you have several subsets and plats sheets, right-click the sheet set name. Sheets will publish in the same order as they are in the sheet set.
