Using transparent commands

Transparent commands that help you draw with point object, point number, or point name.

Transparent command for point object

  1. Ribbon > Home tab > Create Design panel > Feature Line dropdown > Create Feature Line
  2. Create Feature Lines dialog box
    1. Name: checkedEA1
    2. OK
  3. Ribbon > Transparent tab > Point panel > Point Object
    1. Select a point
    2. Specifiy elevation: Enter
    3. Repeat steps 4-5 until all points are selected.
    4. Enter to end Transparent command.
    5. Enter to end Draw Feature Line command.

Transparent command for point numbers

Start a 3D polyline:

  1. 3dpoly Enter
  2. Ribbon > Transparent tab > Point panel > Point Number

  3. 3284,3374,3391,3400 Enter

    Info: Use (,) between numbers. (Space) is Enter in the command line. Use (-) between numbers to draw a line between all points within a range in order.

  1. Enter to end Transparent command.
  2. Enter to end 3D Polyline command
