Add hatch

Double click inside viewport.
-
Type UCS ENTER
-
Type V for View.
-
Set active layer to desired Hatch Pattern (P_EC_MatClass1).

Home Tab > Draw Panel > hatch

Scale: 10

Boundaries > Select boundary objects

Select the polyline
-

Draw hatch area limits
-
Home > Layers > layer pull-down > P_MISC_NoPlot

Draw the shape of the area to be hatched.

Use C to Close the polyline shape area.

Select a point inside the closed polyline to hatch the area.

Select the hatch.

In the Context ribbon > Properties panel > Scale: 10

Open the 04 layout tab

Type UCS ENTER V ENTER

EC Inlet Protection
-
Scroll down to Blocks area, select the EC Inlet Protection block.
-
Type R ENTER in the command line for the Rotate command.

Place the block insertion point, which is the point to rotate around
-
Select a starting point
-
Select a point to end the rotation
-

Scale the block to the file
-
Select block > right-click Properties
-
In the Properties palette > Scale X field, type 0.5
-
-
repeat the above steps for all other erosion control blocks:

Wetland (Marsh) block
Warning: This next step requires permission from the individual responsible for the Wetland-Ex.dwg file. As an alternative, this process could be done in the Topo-Ex file, with similar permission required.

Select the wetland delineation line.
-
In the context ribbon > Edit panel > select Open Reference
-
WisDOT Sheets > Sheet Creation panel > Topo palette > ExistingEdgeofAreas tab
-
Select Wetland/Marsh Area Symbol button and drag to wetland area locations.
-
Save and close the Wetland-Ex.dwg.
-
In the 022001-ec.dwg, reload the Wetland-Ex XREF.

Add Lines
-
Erosion Control Palette > EC – Silt Fence

Draw location of the silt fence
-

Add Labels
-
Slope Intercept, Delineated Wetlands Typ., Silt Fence

Multileader style: WisDOT Sheets > Standard Components panel > Components Palettes pulldown > Multileader Palette > Plan Sheet tab > WETLANDS

EC Inlet Protection Type
-
WisDOT Sheets > WisDOT Annotation panel pull-down > Set WisDOT Textstyle/Size

Style: Calibri Light; Size 0.100”

Click Open Annotate Ribbon.

Text panel > Multiline Text

Create a text box near the inlet block.

Type B
-
Click outside the text box.
-
Select the text, right-click and choose Properties.

Set Justify to Middle Center

Set Text Frame to Yes

Road name
-
WisDOT Sheets > WisDOT Annotation panel pull-down > Set WisDOT Textstyle/Size

Style: Calibri Light; Size 0.100”

Click Open Annotate Ribbon.

Text panel > Multiline Text

Create a text box in the roadway.
-
Type USH 51
-
Click outside the text box.
-
Move and rotate text appropriately for the area.
-

Alignment R/L
-
Select the alignment.
-
Context ribbon > Labels & Tables panel > Add Labels drop-down > Add Alignment Labels

Label Type: Single Segment
-
Line label style: General Line Label Style: Alignment Name [from Desc]
-
Curve label style: General Curve Label Style: Alignment Name [from Desc]
-
Click Add
-
Select the segment of the alignment.
-
Select the label, right-click, Edit Label Text. Select the label text again.
-
Before the <alignment Description> tag type R/L
-
Repeat these steps for each R/L label.

Create a legend and notes
-
WisDOT Sheets > Support > Palettes ON/OFF
-
WisDOT Sheets > Sheet Creation > Drainage and Utilities palette > Erosion Control tab
-
Scroll down to Blocks area and drag EC Legend into the sheet.

Insert the EC Legend block from the palette, right-click on the block and choose Edit Block in Place and click OK.
-
Delete the items and text not represented in this sheet.
-
Move blocks and related text to fill in gaps in legend.
-
Edit Reference panel > Save Changes. Click OK.
-
-
Select the viewport edge and select the Polyline.
-
Hover over the rectangular grip at the midpoint of a viewport edge and choose Add Vertex.
-
Shift so the viewport is not displaying over the legend.
-
Repeat this as necessary to get a box around the legend.
