Add layout to file

  1. WisDOT Sheets tab > Sheet Creation panel > Detail tool palette > 02-Plan Details 1=100 (02-PD-wdot18)
  2. Layout name: PermitAreaEnter

Set viewport to area of interest

  1. Double-click inside viewport to activate it.

  2. Unlock the viewport to be able to move it to the project area.

  3. Double-click inside the viewport again to resume to the extents of the project.
  4. Zoom into area of interest.
  5. Set scale of viewport to 1 IN:100 FT to make sure scale is exact.

  6. WisDOT [***] tab > View panel > Rotate View

  7. First point: Click origin
  8. Second point: Click desired positive X axis
  9. Reset scale to 1 IN:100FT
  10. REAEnter to refresh all graphics.

  11. Lock the viewport.

  12. Double-click layout title. Delete field reference. Type "PERMIT AREA" OK

  13. Save the file.
