Create a grading area
- Open model with a building
- Ribbon > Create tab > Environment panel dropdown > select Grading Area
- Select Draw Style dialog box
- Select Tall Grass
- Draw a shape around building, double-click to close
- Select area and edit
- Use pink square grip to adjust area horizontally
- Use cyan cone grip to adjust area vertically
- Alt + left-click to add vertex
- Shift + left-click to remove vertex
Add 3-to-1 cut slope style
- Select grading area
- Grading Area Properties data card > Manual Grading > More Styles
- Select Grading Style dialog box
- Select Grass Cut, Fill
- OK
Add retaining wall style
- Select grading area
- Grading Area Properties data card > Manual Grading > More Styles
- Select Grading Style dialog box
- Select Rock Wall Cut, Grass Fill
Modify styles
- Ribbon > Manage tab > Content panel > select Style Palette
- Style Palette > Grading tab
- Select Rock Wall Cut, Grass Fill
- Style Editing > select Duplicate
- Rename the new style to Rock Wall Cut, 6:1
- Select the new style Rock Wall Cut, 6:1
- Style Editing > select Edit (pencil)
- Configure dialog box
- Fill Slope: 6:1
- Fill Material: Pick a Style/Color icon > select Gravel OK
- OK
- Select style Rock Wall Cut, 6:1 and drag to grading area
