Creating a shortcut folder

Tip: These folders are for quick access to your project(s) and are temporary and can be deleted after you are done with your project.

  1. Quick Access bar > select Open (open folder icon)
    1. Select File dialog box
      1. Look in: browse to Local Drive:\WisDOT\Design\C3D
      2. Select Up one level icon

        Tip: Set the shortcut folder one level higher than project folders for quick access to your projects.

      3. Left-click C3D folder and drag to Places list (blue bar, left side of dialog box)
      4. Select the C3D shortcut folder to see all project folders
      5. Left-click 86753090 folder and drag it into the Places list

Removing a shortcut folder

  1. Quick Access bar > select Open (open folder icon)
    1. Select File dialog box
      1. In Places list, right-click on 86753090 folder > Remove
      2. Prompt: Are you sure you want to remove '...C3D\86753090' from Places? Yes
      3. Select Cancel
      4. Prompt: Would you like to save changes you made to the Places list? Yes
